Last week I had a bunch of 7th graders shadow me for their career day project. We worked all day and talked about the importance of having all your “ducks” in a row to be a “real” business. I tried to show them how pricing is important and how to earn a living by being self employed. This was a good age because they all seemed interested and asked great questions! We worked hard and had a nice, long lunch break. It was so much fun!
We barely had time do make their own portraits so these are just some quick shots. 2 girls didn’t get theirs done so I will do that for them soon.
These little girls were so much fun to photograph. Each with different personalities - one was very chatty, while the other was more quiet. I’m assuming they are both nonstop talkers at home! lol They really made my day when they came in!
I swear she wasn’t hurting the chicks at all! She was very gentle, but just so confident with them!
What mother doesn’t LOVE portraits of her children? A gift certificate is a great gift idea. A mom and me portrait, one of our new photo bags or a portrait of the children is just what mom would love.
Here is another sweet new life…Baby C was about 11 days old when he came to see me. 1st session in my new space! Yay! He would fall asleep easily enough, but moved when I rearranged him. It was a long session, but so worth it! He’s so sweet…I can’t wait for another cuddle!
I love his little baby feet!

Little K and M are 4 months old…not really an easy age to photograph and then to have 2 of them at once! Their parents were so patient and sweet with these babies. They even managed to get them to fall asleep! The babies were so sweet and happy…just a joy to photograph!
I have so many great images and can’t wait to show you the rest!
