She doesn’t let me photograph her very often so when she finally agrees, I’m thrilled!  You can’t see so much here, but she has the cutest freckles – I just love them.  Madison is 12 and so sweet and funny.  She keeps us laughing all the time….well, most of the time since she can talk a lot at times!  She dances to her own drummer and does her own thing.  I really love that about her.  She’s enjoyed her summer on a swim team – I don’t understand how someone can love swimming laps 4 days a week, but she does.  My baby girl also decided to become a vegetarian because she loves animals so mch and wants to eat healthier.  She is my best eater!  OK, I’m done gushing for now.  Back to work.  :-)

I’ve been a terrible blogger, but hope to have so many things to show you.  The summer has been a little crazy, but I hope to get it all updated very soon.  There will be many new things to come!

I just love, love, LOVE photographing couples.  New relationships are obviously a little easier since they are still crazy in love, but I really enjoy capturing “older” love.  Couples who have been together for years and just might need a photo session to reconnect a little and show how much they love each other.

This session is new love, but so special to me because Chelsee is my niece.  I’ve known and loved her since the day she was born; she’s always been like a daughter to me and her parents were always so kind to “share” her and her brother with me.  She is sweet, smart, loving and completely gorgeous!  It was so great to photograph Chelsee and her fiance because it gave me a chance to get to know him better.  He probably felt weird being in front of my camera and acted a little silly at times, but I really captured their love.  He adores her and is a really great guy.

It’s a good thing I’m not shooting their wedding because I would be a MESS!  I was emotional just working on the images.

Enjoy!

Are you still with me?!

This is the camera bag I’ve been wanting for awhile….I just can’t decide WHICH one!  Maybe you all can help me choose which Kelly Moore Bag I should get.   :-)   I’m thinking either the Classic or Kelly Boy.  Check out her website!

Finally some snapshots from my wedding.  I should be getting the images from our photographer very soon.  I can’t wait!!  To be honest, I’m a little nervous because it was somewhat difficult for me to put my special day into another photographer’s hands.  I love his work so I’m confident.  :-)   We got married at Wolf Creek Winery.  The scenery and weather was perfect.  The whole day was just perfect.

Mark and I both arrived shortly before the ceremony and had some photos done the very first time we saw each other.  It was so nice to have a private, sweet moment with him.  We walked down together with our 6 kids, pastor and photographer at the bottom of the hill down by the tree.  It was very casual and just the way we wanted.  The pastor said all the thing we’ve discussed about marriage in his ceremony and I loved that.  My only regret is we didn’t videotape and I didn’t take one photo at the ceremony site.  It will be fine once we get our photos back from the photographer, but I’m really wanting to see photos from that time NOW!  :-)   I took a few videos of the kids, but that was it.

We spent a few hours getting photographs done and then headed to dinner.  We had dinner with our kids and immediate family.  It was a long day, but just the way we wanted!!  The next day we went to Vegas and I’ll post photos of that later.

Isn’t this place amazing???  It was so nice of the owner to let us get married there since they don’t normally do weddings.  I need to send her some photos.

I loved my dress and couldn’t wait to wear it!  Shelby helped me pick it out.  On the rack it wasn’t my style and I just didn’t care for it.  She insisted I try it on and she was right!  Even the photographed loved it and kept taking pics of my dress and shoes lol.  My girls didn’t care for their dresses, but I couldn’t find much in this color.  I thought they looked so pretty in them.

I loved my red shoes!  Shelby picked them out for me.

We didn’t really have dancing at our dinner, but I HAD to dance with my new husband.  We danced to Matthew West’s “When I Say I Do.”  Perfect.

I never did find the big flower I wanted for my hair so I chose these very sparkly flower clips.  I ended up loving them.

The kids playing with my camera.
